I used a Pacemaker yesterday to help a guitar student work on timing and to improve his speed and it was great! It was the perfect tool for the job and my student was impressed too.
I've began to use it a lot when I practice as well, especially when trying to increase speed. It's also a tool for jamming, unlike the uninspiring 'click' of a metronome. And on top of that, it looks really cool on my desk!
